Yesterday....
SO FUN TO SKYPE Y'ALL!!!!! Well, the family right... it was honestly so
fun to see your faces and talk, it felt like such a short time, but
now in 4 1/2 months I'll be there for REAL LIFE!!! so crazy!!
So many things happened this week. SO MANY MIRACLES!!! and I was so
glad to tell them all to mom and dad, but I guess I'll let the rest of
ya know as well! :)
SOOOOO, Giddinia got baptized, she's been meeting with the missionaries
since October. and always said, I need more time blah blah blah and I
was like fine... and that was in like March, and we stopped visiting
her for a while cause she didn't wanna come to church either. Then over
conference she came by herself, and I was like, yup it is now time!!!
So we started up again, and she started coming to church every week...
but for 2 weeks she had other things to do so she wasn't able to come
then she showed up last Sunday and we visited her on wednesday, and
she was like, I feel like I'm missing something when I don't go to
church, and she's like I feel like I should be a member, and I was
like, welp will ya get baptized this saturday, and she said yes. So we
had like 2 days to get everything all ready. It was CRAZY. and such a
miracle!! and her daughter gets baptized this saturday. she just
doesn't know it yet :)
A member took us to his area to find people to teach, it was such a
success!!! His brother in law is recieving us as well!!!! he's a
funny guy, seriously he's like, I dunno if I wanna be with my wife
FOREVERRRRR, she's a hateful person. Hahahahahah it happens...
I took some sleeping pills just to see if it would help me sleep.
It didn't, it made everything worse, I was like so depressed, and even
more tired, and I was like NOPE those are goin in the garbage... hope
the trash guy likes those suckers.
We are recieving references like no other. It's crazy, and they are all
golden, and I love it...
La Liga lost the championship. Our neighbors were pretty happy about
that. It's like the superbowl here... or BSU against Oregon... that's
how crazy it gets with soccer. People are still celebrating.
Well let's just say that the Lord is blessing us for the effort we are
putting into the work here. And it's tough, cause he comes to our
rescue right when we are about to fall, and helps us right back up,
but that's how we learn, and it makes me laugh... hahaah seriously, I
love it. I love everything about my mission. I wouldn't change it for
the world.

13 Monthsssss May 5, 2014
Yup. Another month down. 5 more to go. I cannot believe it. AND I GET
TO SEE YOU ON SKYPE THIS SUNDAY!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!
I'M GONNA DIE!!!! WOOT WOOT!!! :)))))))
Anyways, it was a slow week again, nothing new, difficult but life
goes on right. ... haha jk,
I was seriously thinking ALOT about Elder Hollands talk this conference,
seriously, it just reminds me that it's not easy, and as well as
another talk he gave about missionary work and the atonement, that
this work is NOT easy, and salvation is NOT a cheap task, so when we
think it's too hard, just gotta remember what Christ went through, and
he was perfect, and I'm SO far from that.
Soooo let me just say, I wanna be a fire ball member when I get home..
I say that now but I guess we will see what happens when I actually
get home, but we have these 2 RMs who are just handing out references
like no other. and honestly I was praying the whole week to have a
miracle. and they just happened to be it. It was great, they were
like, hey so we wanna work with you, I have a friend, an uncle, a
cousin... etc..... seriously, I was like, SLOW DOWNNNNN can't write
that fast... and they go and visit them with us as well. It's so
exciting. RMS ROCKKKKK. Well some of them.... only a few of them...
when there fresh... hahah
We visited Angie, an inactive, and we are teaching her son as well to
be baptized, we taught about the WOW. She drank coffee, but she was
like I know it's bad so I don't let the little ones drink it. She
was like, actually I was just thinking about throwing it away today.
So might as well now, cause I'm gonna follow the commandments. YES.
I asked the elders for a blessing, I was like hey, I'm just feelin
like I need a little priesthood power. Wow, can I tell you that
the spirit was SO strong. I couldn't tell ya if the elders were crying
or not, but I saw it. So I'll tell you yes. I love the priesthood. It's
the power of God, I can't doubt it for a second, you go boys. ALWAYS be worthy to hold the priesthood. Never
do anything that would stop you from feeling worthy.
DYLAN. HAPPY BIRTHDAY THIS WEEK. I'll just tell ya, that I didn't send
ya anything cause you got a card last year. hahahah so we can
celebrate when I get home. This summer will go by fast, don't worry
bout it.
I GOT MY PACKAGE!!! I'll say this again over and over, but I have the
BEST FAMILY AND BEST WARD FAMILY EVER!!!!thank you for the cards :) I
love you all.
And tell sister Kingsolver thank you for the card that she sent me.
She's really sweet, I'll have to write her back :)
I'm seriously really really happy to be a missionary serving my God.
and that there is nothing that I need to worry about back home,
because I was promised that everything will be ok as long as I'm doing
the Work the way the Lord wants me to. I'm proud to say I am :) and I
wouldn't change my decision for the world :)
(week is gonna be long, my comp`s boyfriend didn't write... again) pray
for me :) hahahah

This week flew by!!! But it's pretty much goin the same. It's
frustrating, only because baptisms have fallen through over and over
and over again. I don't know what's happening. We are doing our best
and doing everything that we are suppose to be doing, but no success.
I think God is trying to teach me something. but who knows...
It started raining yesterday... it was like, little drops here and
there, and then all the sudden the roads were flooded. and we didn't
have anything. We ran for cover, it was fun, waited there for 10 mins,
started walking again, and started raining again. we got soaked!!! But
now that the rain is here, it's just awful, the heat and moister.. let's
just say I haven't slept for 3 months, and won't sleep until I'm gone.
It's great.
I don't really have a lot to write so it might be "keepin it short"
kinda week. sorrryyyy
sooo I remember one time, well a couple times I made bets in my life
and I was like, "yeah I will NEVER EVER make bets again in my life"
yeah that ended this week. we made bets with the elders. We have to
talk to so many people in a day and find so many new people to teach.
So we were like, ok 20 LPE and 3 news with 3 dates. I don't know if
that's bad to do,to bet on the mission, but we agreed... we got 31
LPE 4 news and 1 date. We lost by 2 dates.. so we had to buy freakin
milkshakes. I will never bet again in my life.
Welp, just hoping that things get better....
