yet, but I'm still excited to show her the area, and teach her a little
bit more of missionary work. Her name is Hermana Ramirez. I think... I
guess we will see. haha how embarrassing. but whatever, I learn her
name soon enough.
But back to last week, once I got back, I got to be comps with Hermana
Salas, the one from Argentina for this week... I felt like I was on a
week of divisions.... don't wanna do that. Ever again. She's a great
missionary yeah, buttttttt lets just say God is like hey will you just
learn patients again? ok thanks, now go work. But honestly, I learned
a lot from her, and she leaves this week to her house, so it's all
good.
Welp good news, we had a little 8 year old girl named Dani, and only
her 2 older sisters are baptized, and she wanted to get baptized, but
the dad told her no, right? Anyways, we had a little chat with him and
talked about the importance of baptism, and he was like ok well when
would she get baptized, and we said, this sunday, and he was like,
that's really fast, but if you will come and teach her more, that's
fine. so she got baptized on sunday. it was really a miracle, and she
was such an example to her parents, I know for a fact that they will
be getting baptized soon as well.
While teaching Dani, we learned a few other things as well.... we
learned how to make Pinto!! woot woot, I can officially make all the
Costa Rican food y'all would like when I get home. no big deal. its
realllllyyyyy good... I think that's where I've gained all my weight
from, but seriously I have been waiting a year to learn how to make
this dish. That's what ya get for being a missionary.
I'll just tell ya, that this week wasn't very exciting, everybody was
just really nervous for transfers, so we had to go to a lot of places
to say chao. well obviously just cause my comp is going to her house,
and I'm pretty sure I gained like 21987237 pounds. People just love
givin food here.... we are soooo spoiled. haha
This week is semana santa, the hottest in the whole year, AND, the
week where nobody is in their houses, cause its vacations, and
everybody is goin to the beach, seriously I've heard and have dreaded
this week. I can already see it, NO ONE is out in the streets and all
the shops are closed.... its sooo sad.... so we will see what happens
this week. I'm praying REALLY hard that things will go well :) pray for
us as well!
Hope you all enjoy Easter, just remember why we celebrate it. I'll tell ya
why, not just because I hate huge rabbits that chase ya around, but
this is why.

BECAUSE OF HIM. WE WILL LIVE AGAIN.
And I couldn't be more grateful to have that knowledge.
Use the power of the atonement in your lives, you won't regret it. It's
the best thing that will happen to you. He didn't suffer for nothing.
He suffered for you, and me, and everyone else, so let's not put that
to waste.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
I just wanna say that I know for a fact, not with faith, but with
knowledge, that Jesus lives and loves us and is here for us no matter
what. This is HIS church, and it is TRUE. I have NO doubt. The book of
Mormon, IS the keystone of our religion. The spirit testifies of truth
over and over again. Ask and it shall be given unto you. Doubt not
Fear not. remember, we only have "4 minutes" use them wisely.
