Don't have em. Thank goodness. It was so funny how everybody was so
worried about them and I was like, I'm gonna end my mission here, no
big deal. and I didn't get changed. It'll happen.
Today was AWESOOME!. We woke up at the crack of dawn, or earlier to
get on the bus to go to the waterfalls here. It was sweet. and huge,
and we played with monkeys, not really cause they just throw poop at
ya, but it was cool to see them for the first time here in the Rica.
It was a lot of fun today, it was actually a really good week as well.
Yesterday was good, we had 4 investigators come to church, and 12
inactives! Crazy, we were not expecting that with only 1 week
of visiting in actives!
I had to leave early with another
missionary to take her to the hospital, and let me tell ya, I CANNOT
believe that this place is certified to be a freakin hospital. It was
the dirtiest worst service horrible nurses hospital I've ever been too.
I think people leave there with other sicknesses. I think I might have
left there with one. We were there for 7 hours, while they just put an
IV in her, and told her she had broncitis. when she was throwing up
and couldn't eat. TELL ME THATS BRONCITIS. It was awful. She was like
yup I'm leaving, and she got up and left. hahahahah I was so angry, and
she was angry as well.... my Boer side came out. hahahah
This week I found out somethings that my comp can't eat. hahah she is
SO ALLERGIC to EVERYTHING. I swear. we tried a new fruit, and it was
really good, and when we got done eating one, she blew up like a
balloon. I was freakin out, but thank goodness we were in a store
where there was allgery pills hahaha
Roger accepted a baptism date!! honestly, it was a miracle. He was
like yes, I know this is what I need to do, and you both make me see
things from a different perspective, unlike the elders who taught me
before, you both teach like you care about me and not like another
baptism (his whole family are members, he knows stuff) hahaha not
talking bad about elders or anything, but its cool to see the work
moving with sisters:)
Jimena, the daughter of our last baptism. she was like, I'm
going to get baptized, and so we put a date with her, and her mom was
like, ok sounds good. It was crazy how easy that was. How easy they
said yes. but I think it's because the mom knows how it is and how she
will feel after this step in her life.
Last monday, we went and visited a recent convert, and her daughter
that got baptized, with the elders, because they were teaching her, so
we had to go with them for an interview, anyways, this is the same
family that got mad cause they were still drinking coffee after their
baptisms, so I helped them get rid of it right... yeah they were still
mad at me. but I talked to them about it, how I was helping them keep
the commandments of God. and they said ok that's alright. and
everything is good. The people here are actually really prideful...
and I don't know if that helps me get rid of my pride or just builds
it... it scares me hhaaha but my hick side came out and I helped them
chop wood. hahaha SO FUNNY. They can't do it. I was like, hey I'll help
you.
Saturday we were invited by Roger and his family to a FHE, we
actually went fishing. Haha I was the only one that caught something.
I'm so proud of myself. I learned something in my younger days. haha it
was a really good FHE we learned alot and they did to on how to be a
united family.
Welp. Let me tell ya. the mission is crazy. hard, fun, and SO WORTH
IT. and it goes by fast.
MAT 14:27-31
D&C 50:40-44
enjoy.
